U.S. Coast Guard Group Eastern Shore exists primarily to protect life and property in our waterways, enforce federal laws and regulations, maintain aids to navigation, and respond to threats to the marine environment. Although we are one of the smallest Groups in the Coast Guard, our area of responsibility (AOR) spans the ocean coasts of Delaware, Maryland, and most of Virginia.
