Wateree Recreation Area is located in the heart of South Carolina’s Olde English District, where the three large river systems, Pee-Dee, Catawba-Wateree and Broad, that once brought in settlers, now lure campers, picnickers and fishermen alike! This 14,000-acre hydroelectric impoundment has a 190-mile shoreline. Situated on a peninsula of 25 pristine wooded acres, Wateree Recreation Area is designed for the recreational enjoyment of military members and their families.
