The U.S. Army Garrison Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield is responsible for organizing, directing, coordinating and controlling garrison support and service activities, including overall management of the garrison workforce. The command is composed of numerous directorates and organizations responsible for the day to day operation of Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield.

Individuals came out to practice May 14 for the Army 10-Miler at the Tominac Fitness Center on Hunter Army Airfield. The qualifying race will be held at Donovan Track in the Georgia National Guard Training Area, June 4. The 27th Annual Army Ten-Miler will be held 8 a.m., Oct. 9 at The Pentagon.
