The 155th Air Refueling Wing is based at the Lincoln Municipal Airport in Lincoln Neb., and it is rich in history and experience. Formed in 1946 as the 173rd Fighter Squadron, it has evolved over the years to meet the needs of our ever-changing world. The 155th has flown the KC-135R Stratotanker since 1992, supporting numerous military operations all over the globe.
