The U.S. Army Garrison, Brussels, is the successor activity to several differently-named U.S. Army entities which have provided support to the U.S. representation at NATO HQ since the Alliance’s HQ moved to Brussels from Paris in August, 1967. The garrison, a unit of the Army’s Installation Management Command, has been known by its current title since 13 October of 2005.
